MAKE A DONATION
Your financial support helps us implement vital programs that address issues such as child marriage, education access, and health care. Donations of any size are appreciated and go directly towards improving the lives of children in Uganda. We also recieve in kind donations like books, clothes, shoes, pens among others.

Become a Champion 16 ways to be a Champion for AGFCI
1. Share the website address http://www.agfci.org with family and friends.
2. Give out a child sponsor brochure to someone at your church.
3. Sign up for our monthly newsletter and then forward to one friend or post it on your social media platforms each month.
4. Build a small group of people that will offer to pray for AGFCI on a regular basis.
5. Share stories to your friends and family about the work in general that AGFCI does on behalf of the children in Uganda.
6. Ask to speak at your workpalce, community or church on behalf of AGFCI. Use the general PowerPoint and a video we have prepared.
7. Become and committed to donating $10 a month. Tell 10 friends about this program and encourage them to join you.
8. Buy our online products as a way of supporting AGFCI by clicking on the link below. Some of our teens and mothers make different items from various materials as one of the sustainability work. 9. Write a letter to your local newspaper telling them about AGFCI and the way we care for poor and volunerable children in Uganda.

How You Can Get Involved with Aboluganda Goodwill for Children Initiative (AGFCI)

You don't have to travel to Uganda to make a difference. Whether you have a few minutes or a few dollars, here are simple, powerful ways to help bring hope to poor and volunerable children:

1. Share Our Website
Invite friends and family to learn about our work by sharing www.agfci.org via email, WhatsApp, or social media.
2. Distribute a Brochure
Hand out a AGFCI/child sponsorship brochure at your church, workplace, or community center. One brochure could change a child’s life.
3. Forward Our Newsletter
Subscribe to our monthly newsletter—and each month, forward it to a friend or post it on social media.
4. Start a Prayer Circle
Gather a small group of friends to pray regularly for the children, staff, and needs of AGFCI. Prayer moves mountains!
5. Share Your Story
Write a heartfelt email or social media post about your experience or what inspires you about AGFCI. Share photos, stories, or links.
6. Host a Speaker Opportunity
Ask your church or community group or place of work to allow you (or a team member) to speak about AGFCI. We provide a ready-made PowerPoint and video to make it easy.
7. Create and Share Personalized Cards
Use sites like Snapfish to design cards using AGFCI photos and stories. Send them for birthdays, thank-you notes, or just because.

Support Financially (Every Little Bit Counts!)

1. Become a $10/ UGX 20,000/ Monthly Partner.
Then tell 10 friends and invite them to do the same. Together, you create lasting impact.

2. Write to Your Local Paper
Send a letter to the editor about the plight of street-connected children in Uganda and how AGFCI is making a difference.

3. Create a Birthday Fundraiser
Ask for donations instead of gifts for your birthday. Use Facebook or a platform like GoFundMe to make it easy.

4. Bake Sale or Craft Fair Table
Sell baked goods, homemade crafts, or art with proceeds going to AGFCI. Add an info flyer to every item sold.

BECOME A CHILD SPONSOR
Our sponsorship program supports children from poor and vulnerable backgrounds to enrol, keep in school and complete their education. We provide children with school fees and other school needs as well as supporting children and their families to becomes economically self reliant. We focus on children from pre-school to higher institutions of learning – giving children a life time opportunity to support themselves, their families and the community where they live.

How much does it cost to sponsor a child?
Here is the list of categories to choose from and our team will be happy to give you more information about these categories where needed.
$20 / MONTH for primary school fees only
$30 / MONTH for primary school fees and requirements (books, school uniform, pens)
$30 / MONTH for secondary school fees
$40 / MONTH for secondary school fees and requirements
$70 / MONTH for secondary boarding school
$75 / MONTH for tertiary (vocational) education school fees.
$116 / MONTH for university tuition on average. However, tuition varies with course.

Volunteer Opportunities
We offer a variety of ways for you to get involved:
Community Outreach: Engage in fieldwork by supporting education programs, conducting health trainings, or raising awareness on issues affecting children.
Support Our Campaigns: Help with social media management, marketing, and online fundraising efforts to amplify our impact. Administrative Assistance: Assist with project coordination, event planning, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
Capacity Building: Share your expertise by training and mentoring staff or community members in areas such as advocacy, communication, or program management

AGFCI INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Aboluganda Goodwill For Children Initiative (AGFCI) Internship Program offers motivated individuals the chance to engage with our mission and contribute to our work. Interns bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and research skills to the organization while gaining experience in a diverse, dynamic environment. This program provides an excellent opportunity to build practical skills and strengthen CVs. Internships are available in both program-focused roles and various operational units (e.g., Human Resources, Communications, Accounting), with placement based on organizational needs.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for an internship, candidates must hold an undergraduate, post graduate degree or diploma in a relevant field. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of other local languages is advantageous for community training purposes. We are committed to fostering diversity and encourage applications from all qualified individuals, especially women, from various professional and academic backgrounds. Our goal is to attract top talent in Uganda.
Additional Information
The AGFCI Internship Program generally looks for candidates in the following areas:
Program roles in project coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, communications, advocacy, resource mobilisation, finance, and related fields, as well as corporate support roles such as accounting.
Where applicable, AGFCI may provide a travel allowance and lunch, depending on the supervisor’s discretion. Travel coverage is limited to transportation for fieldwork. Interns are responsible for their own accommodation.
Most internship positions are based in Kampala and in our upcountry offices. Internships are typically offered for a minimum of three months.

International applicants are required to have valid work permits and other relevant documentation.

Selection Process
Selections are made based on organizational needs, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the hiring department. There is no fixed number of internship positions, as hiring depends on current requirements.
